Our Impact
Classroom Initiatives
Learning Grants are at the heart of the Foundation's mission, Since 1994, more than $700,000 has been awarded to support teachers, staff and students at all district 99 schools - sparking innovation, strengthening social-emotional learning, supporting clubs and bringing creative ideas to life.
Scholarships
Since 2017, the Foundation has awarded $1000 to a student from North and South High Schools. This award honors AVID students who take on rigorous courses while developing skills in leadership, organization, and critical thinking to prepare for college success.
Community Support
Through the Family Support Fund, the Foundation provides gift cards to families in need so they can purchase groceries, clothing and other essential household items. By easing these immediate challenges at home, the fund helps students stay focused on learning and know that their community is here for them.
Legacy
Celebrate a graduate, favorite teacher, student, team, or family with a personalized Legacy Brick. Your brick becomes a lasting tribute installed in prominent areas at both North and South -creating a “walk of stars” where visitors love to find their names and the names of people they admire .
