History & Mission
In 1994, area business, community, and education leaders established the District 99 Education Foundation, a not-for-profit alliance to assist Community High School District 99, North and South High Schools, efforts to deliver a superior education to our children.
The mission of the District 99 Education Foundation is to provide independent financial assistance for District 99 students and staff in support of innovative curricula and technologies that fall outside of traditional public funding. The Foundation is proud to have recently expanded our mission to answer the needs of our families with the help of our community.
Since its inception, the Foundation has remained focused on its mission and has invested nearly one million dollars for enhancement programs for students and teachers at both North and South High Schools.
